After months of waiting, today is the day! The public release of JACLPlus Pro for Joomla 1.5! Or well, that's what ByOSTech have been telling us for a long while now on their site. According to my calendar, today it's June 1st!

The weirdest thing I've now seen is: In the newsarticle on the frontpage which shows us what this JACLPlus Pro version for Joomla 1.5 consists of, there was also a line which said: "Public Release will be available on or before 1st June 2008." (and no! i'm not talking about the JACLPlus Pro version for Joomla 1.0.15, where the line still stands).

So! Am I getting mad today or what? I've been waiting like others over here for months for this release, and now they've removed that 'on or before 1st June 2008' line, what makes me think they've been crawling back, and aren't releasing this JACLPlus Pro version for Joomla 1.5 after all no more.

Someone please explain?

Seriously... this community sucks. No one is ever answering in here, and just like I thought: The JACLPlus public release for Joomla 1.5 aint gonna happen. Thanks for let me wait all this time for nothing!! I thought this community was great until this whole thing came up. Why mislead people, since I'm 100% sure there was also an announcement for the Joomla 1.5 component to be released on June 1st. Now only the 1.0.15 component has been released...

I already lost my patience with this little company
I'm sure they're hoping to fatten their bank account before releasing a free version

It is regrettable....

Well,

I will install the JACLPlus only when it is public.

Looking good is better to wait Joomla incorporate the native ACL.

Here: Joomla! Development - Accepted Feature Request - Access Management in Joomla! 1.6

So there will be very well with Joomla 1.0.x. .. uahuahuuauahuah ...
