Hello everybody!

I have a problem with JaclPlus on my Site. You can see our Site at this adress: www.hockey-club-schweinfurt.de

You can see, i have several Content Sections. For Example we will take the Item "Hockey". When you open it, there are serveral Items, like "Herren", "Damen"....

Now i have for example 2 Users (TEST1, TEST2)

User TEST1 is allowed to edit the Content "Herren", but not "Damen".

User TEST2 is allowed to edit the Content "damen", but not "Herren".

I thought to build two Usergroups with the Rights "Publisher", with the restrictons which i need.

But now i have the Problem, that the Publisher can edit all sites?!?! I find no Solutions for that Problem.

Can anybody help?

Okay once again. I solved the Problem with great Help from ByOS Team. I reinstalled JACLPlus and after that, everything works. Bye Tobi

SECURITY ALERT - The Shared Sign-On module this tutorial formerly relied on has been withdrawn because of security risks. It is no longer available at all. There is a replacement module called Single Sign On. It should replace the Shared Sign-On module, but currently reports problems with user registration and recommends registration happens through the master site. If your solution requires branded registration pages, you could create a suite of registration pages on the master site and use the Theme Key module to apply the correct theme to each one, for a seamless user experience (except for the URL, obviously).

WARNING - Following this approach will make updates potentially trickier. It's not a major issue, but you must be mindful that you are sharing some tables amongst several Drupal instances, so you will need to be aware of install and update hooks which want to make changes to any shared tables. For example, it is possible for the update or install _script_s of a module unique to one instance to break other instances if it makes changes to shared tables. There are other multi-site solutions, so plan carefully before selecting which one is right for you.

I prefer the native app running locally as much as possible to have. Which is why I wish I pissed off sometimes, Apple would allow Google to release a Gmail and Google Maps, the two apps I miss most by my Nexus One. At least I'm reassured in part to a native application Google Voice have.
